Salinas de Bolívar is a national and international reference for socio-community development
Here approximately 28 community microenterprises are concentrated, dedicated to the industrialization of milk, meat, fruit, wool, among others, which generate around 198 processed products, marketed in the national market and exported to other countries, especially Italy. One of its best-known products is El Salinerito cheese, which is available to consumers throughout the country in large supermarkets and in its own distribution stores, which the Funorsal has for that purpose.
 

This parish is a group of microenterprises, in each house one of them operates. It is very common to find stores and stores that sell the products generated by its inhabitants: Cheeses, butter, yogurt, nougat, jams, noodles, cookies, truffles, dried mushrooms, bread, honey bee candies, chocolates, chocolates, wool, fabrics , balls, crafts… in short, Salinas is a town of wonderful surprises.
 

In addition, Salinas has several tourist attractions including the majesty of the rocky cliffs, the waterfall of Chazojuan, which makes its way between these stone giants, a special attraction, for reasons of ecological and tourism, is the introduction of camelids. Moreover, the area has endemic fauna such as tigrillo and some birds like colibris.
