OUR STORY
"Samilagua organic farm was established with the aim of recovering all ancestral knowledge: Andean agriculture, ancestral seed saving & exchange, holistic herbal medicine, energy medicine, herbal purification baths, mud therapy, forestry and native plants. For lovers of natural products, we sell facial creams, teas, natural soap, shampoo, paramo straw crafts, alpaca and llama crafts, wood carvings (totems). In this way we help to preserve the ancient wisdom and improve the economy of our local community. In recent years our country and planet has been severly deforested and polluted with chemicals in a way that affects the planet and all of us. Our goal is to become a certification body to support all projects that want to work in respect of nature and indigenous life, without pesticides to conserve an ecosystem. We want to develop many other farms like Sami Yaku throughout the country.
